Original one of a kind acrylic painting on canvas. Used different shades and tones of blue with some silver and white. I was inspired to paint the ocean slowly rising. I was looking to evoke the feeling of a gentle slow storm in the water but at the same time the beauty of the movement of the water. "Rising Tide" shows how the ocean can be powerful and quiet and calm at the same time. Inspired by living on Long Island, NY and spending lots of time enjoying the ocean and beach.
