About Me

My love for the arts started in my early childhood with drawing. In high school, I was fortunate enough to attend NYSSSFA where I studied painting and printmaking. I’ve since had the pleasure of attending Parsons School of Design in New York and Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta for graphic and advertising design.

I enjoy painting portraits, skyscapes, and abstract works using acrylic on canvas or illustration board. I sometimes experiment in oil, watercolor, or gouache and am again exploring printmaking. Jackson Pollock and Chuck Close are among my biggest influences. My hobbies include photography and art projects with my kids. I currently live in New York with my husband, two children, and our semi-famous Boston Terrier.

My Process

Before paint meets canvas, I research my subject and create a color palette to suit. I paint skyscapes freehand and portraits on a grid, using high-quality acrylic paint. Depending on size and complexity, I paint in one or several sessions.
